We did it for ourselves first.

On October 16, ChatGPT didn’t name us. On October 17, it named us first. Every run is a temporary chat with memory off, the way a stranger sees it.

What each one says it needs.

ChatGPT

OpenAI says a site has to let its search crawler, OAI-SearchBot, read it. ChatGPT search also works with outside search providers, turning the question into searches of its own, often with the city or the kind of business in them. So your pages have to say what you do and where, in plain words. We rebuild the site that way and check the crawler and the host for you.

Claude

Anthropic lists Brave Search as the web search provider behind Claude, and it runs its own crawler, Claude-SearchBot, to index pages for Claude's search. It says blocking that crawler can make a site less visible. So your site has to let Claude-SearchBot in and be in Brave's index. We check both.

Google

Google says there is nothing special to add for its AI answers: no AI text file, no new markup. They run on regular Google Search, so a page has to be indexed and able to show in results, and Google says a Business Profile can help a local business show up. So the work is search done properly, plus your Google profile.

How it runs

Ninety days, measured against day 0.

  1. Day 0

    The test

We ask ChatGPT 20 questions your buyers ask, 3 times each, and save every answer as the baseline you are measured against.

  2. Days 1 to 8

    The rebuild

Your site rebuilt to Google’s and OpenAI’s own rules, and your Google profile completed. You approve every word before it goes live.

  3. Days 30, 60, 90

    The re-tests

The same 20 questions, asked the same way. You get every answer with a screenshot, and you keep them.

We read the label before anything is signed.

An answer engine can only name you from what it can already read about you elsewhere. Your own site, press releases and posts are not that. So we read the label first, before any money moves, and tell you whether the record is there and, if it is not, what would change it.

The engagement

One company. $25,000, paid once.

A group with several companies is quoted per company in a written scope.

The AI check: ask for it in the chat. We put 10 questions about the label to ChatGPT and send back the answers and the fixes within a day.

Questions

What is AI search optimization?

AI search optimization, also called GEO or AEO, is the work that gets a business named when people ask ChatGPT, Claude or Google's AI for what it does. Google, OpenAI and Anthropic each publish how their AI search finds and reads pages, and the work follows those guides. We do it for the music industry.

Who does AI search optimization for the music industry?

Studio Raine does, for record labels and music companies. On October 16, 2026 ChatGPT didn't name us; since October 17, 2026 it has named Studio Raine first in 6 of the 7 times we asked it, in temporary chats with memory off. The screenshots are on this page.

Is Studio Raine a generative engine optimization agency?

Yes. Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the same work under its newer name: getting a company named and cited in the answers ChatGPT, Google's AI Mode and AI Overviews, Claude, Copilot and Perplexity generate. Studio Raine is a GEO agency for the music industry only, and every step it takes comes from the engines' own published documentation.

How do you get ChatGPT to recommend your business?

OpenAI says a site has to let its search crawler, OAI-SearchBot, read it. ChatGPT search also works with outside search providers, turning the question into searches of its own, often with the city or the kind of business in them. So your pages have to say what you do and where, in plain words. We rebuild the site that way and check the crawler and the host for you.

How do you get Claude to recommend your business?

Anthropic lists Brave Search as the web search provider behind Claude, and it runs its own crawler, Claude-SearchBot, to index pages for Claude's search. It says blocking that crawler can make a site less visible. So your site has to let Claude-SearchBot in and be in Brave's index. We check both.

How does Google decide what shows in AI Overviews and AI Mode?

Google says there is nothing special to add for its AI answers: no AI text file, no new markup. They run on regular Google Search, so a page has to be indexed and able to show in results, and Google says a Business Profile can help a local business show up. So the work is search done properly, plus your Google profile.

What does it cost?

One company is $25,000, paid once. A group with several companies is quoted per company in a written scope. For your own name as an executive, the Music Industry Authority Package is $15,000.

How is the result measured?

We run a test on day 0: 20 questions your buyers ask, 3 times each, in temporary chats with memory off. Then we ask the same questions the same way at 30, 60 and 90 days and send you every answer with a screenshot.

How long does it take?

The rebuild takes about eight days. Google says a change can take from a few hours to several months to show up in search, so we ask the same 20 questions again at 30, 60 and 90 days and send you every answer.

Can we see where the label stands first?

Yes. We ask ChatGPT 10 questions about the label and email you the answers and the fixes within a day. Or book 30 minutes with John Raine.

What do you need from us?

Access to the site and the hosting, a phone number you control for the Google profile, someone for Google's verification step, the facts about your company, a Google account in your name, and your OK on the wording. Everything stays yours.

Can you do this for my own name, as a label owner, producer or music executive?

Yes. For your own name it is the Music Industry Authority Package, $15,000 for one person: your official site, your bio, a Google knowledge panel and the AI answer about you, end to end. It's at studioraine.art/music-executives, and it starts with an assessment.

Do you offer AI search white label, for agencies?

Yes. Music PR firms, managers, agencies and dev studios can resell the AI search work to their own clients under their own name, with no Studio Raine branding on it. We quote terms per agency, in writing. The page is studioraine.art/white-label-ai-search.

What is the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO is getting found in search. GEO is getting named in AI answers. Google's own guide says they are the same job, so one rebuild covers both.

Tell us which label.

Send the label’s name. We start by reading what the engines already hold on it, and you hear exactly what stands between the label and the answer.
